Charge to the WDC User Committee

The HIS Users Committee will provide feedback and recommendations on the current functionality of CUAHSI – HIS and suggest future functionality developments. The Users Committee will be provided with reports by CUAHSI staff on suggestions from, and needs of the larger HIS user community.  Information in the reports will be gathered by CUAHSI staff through the HIS Users Group Forum, direct communication with HIS users, on-line surveys, and any other feedback mechanisms.

This committee is charged with the following tasks:

1. Review suggestions for new data sources, functionalities or other needs of the HIS user community
2. Recommend a prioritized list of revisions to HIS based on reports from the HIS group forum, other feedback mechanisms, and their own experiences. 
3. Assist CUAHSI in soliciting information from the user community by suggesting or reviewing relevant questions on CUAHSI surveys.

The committee will provide feedback to CUAHSI staff after each meeting. The committee will deliver an annual report to the CUAHSI Informatics Standing Committee.
